Approx. 36 miles S of Naas on the main Naas / Carlow road (N9).
Go to churchyard in the town of Castledermot.Signposted.

2 pierced ring panelled high crosses of granite are detailed here.The north
cross shown on this page has on its east face (left photo), the 12 apostles
surrounding Christ's crucifixion on the top and 2 panels below
this are possibly ecclesiastical figures. The base shows double
spiralling artwork and on the left of the base you can just make out
the miracle of the loaves & fishes parable.On the west face (bottom photo) in the centre panel are Adam
and Eve representing the biblical fall of man. At the arms on the
9 O' clock panel is David ; 3 pm : sacrifice of Isaac ; Noon
position 2 unknown figures and 6 pm panel : Daniel in the lion's
den.
