It is unfortunate that most restored Megalithic sites under state care restrict the general public to opening times usually between sunrise and sunset. However the skies refuse to 'align' with this temporal rule. The best in Archaeoastronomy occurs after dark when the Moon and planets are in operation. The Sun usually steals all the limelight, and observation of planetary passageway transits is all but forgotten at such centres.
Be that as it may, I've decided anyhow to show you the future observations of the two luminaries (Sun and Moon) in the hopes that one day you maybe afforded an opportunity to view these transits from the great Site 1 mound. The passageways are narrow so only a very small group of people can inhabit the interior at any one time.(no pushing and shoving, please) All times are GMT/UT, all azimuths cone in to the orthostats designed 33 and 34 at the elbow junction of the Western passage and the Back chamber wall of its Eastern counterpart
